INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Often, pain and distress in our current life can become a doorway to growth and healing. In individual therapy, we’ll work together to address present challenges—whether it’s anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties—while also exploring the deeper patterns that shape how you experience yourself and others. From an attachment perspective, we look at how your early relationships may still influence your emotions, reactions, and ways of connecting, especially in moments of stress or vulnerability.

Alongside this, I integrate a PBSP-informed approach to help identify unmet developmental needs and create new, corrective emotional experiences—offering a felt sense of safety, support, and possibility. I will also help you reframe unhelpful patterns and develop practical tools to navigate life’s obstacles, so change feels both meaningful and usable in your daily life. Together, we slow things down, working with both insight and experience, so healing is not just understood intellectually, but deeply felt. Over time, this process can support a greater sense of self-compassion, more secure relationships, and a stronger feeling of groundedness and choice.

COUPLES AND FAMILY THERAPIES

We need one another—that’s how we’re made. As a Celtic saying reminds us, “We live in the shelter of each other. “When our closest relationships feel safe and supportive, life feels more meaningful. But when you’re caught in pain and disconnection, it can feel lonely and confusing—even when you care deeply about one another.

In our work together, we focus on the patterns that keep you stuck—those reactive cycles where family members or partners feel hurt, misunderstood, or alone. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy, we explore the deeper attachment needs and emotions underneath these moments, helping you find new ways to reach for one another that create safety and connection. I also integrate The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, supporting both closeness and a strong sense of self, so each person can stay connected without losing who they are.

I pay close attention to how earlier relational experiences may still be shaping what each person longs for—and how they respond—within relationships today. In therapy, we create opportunities for new experiences of being seen, supported, and responded to in ways that may have been missing. As these experiences take hold, your relationships can begin to feel more authentic, grounded, and real.

HEALING GROUPS

I facilitate small groups experiences designed to help heal and change family of origin relational patterns that are not working in your life. These groups employ a very effective, mind-body approach, known as Pesso-Boyden Psychomotor System (PBSP), which enables the individual to experience a corrective, positive restructuring of early traumatic events.
